Crock-Pot Lentil soup

Enjoy a big bowl of protein with this lentil soup recipe.
Ingredients
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 3 tomatoes, chopeed
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
  • 1 pound lentils, rinsed
  • Sea salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. In a Crock-Pot, add all the ingredients except the salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours. Season to taste before serving.
