Recipe type: Salad
The finished version of this salad dish is sure to impress.
- 1 head red leaf lettuce
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Sea salt and pepper
- Core lettuce and creak apart into whole leaves. Wash and dry leaves, then pile half of them in an even layered pile. Slice leaves crosswise into ½ inch strips. Repeat with remaining leaves.
- Place lettuce strips into a large bowl and add the oil and lemon juice. Toss to coat and season to taste.
