Ribbon Salad

The finished version of this salad dish is sure to impress.
  • 1 head red leaf lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Sea salt and pepper
  1. Core lettuce and creak apart into whole leaves. Wash and dry leaves, then pile half of them in an even layered pile. Slice leaves crosswise into ½ inch strips. Repeat with remaining leaves.
  2. Place lettuce strips into a large bowl and add the oil and lemon juice. Toss to coat and season to taste.
