Raw Pumpkin Pie

With just the right spices and ingredients, this is a great pumpkin pie recipe for the holidays and the changing of the seasons.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups almonds
  • ½ cup dates, pitted and soaked for 4-6 hours
  • 2 cups shredded pumpkin
  • 1 cup dates, not soaked
  • ½ cups almonds, soaked overnight
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ cup water
Instructions
  1. In a food processor blend the almond and dates until smooth. Remove from the food processor and press into a pie pan.
  2. In a food processor blend the remaining ingredients unil smooth. Pour over the crust and chill for 4 hours.
